Vicar’s Landing, a Life Care Retirement Community, located in Ponte Vedra Beach is seeking a Director of Nursing. The primary purpose of your job position is to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of our Nursing Services Department in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Must possess as a minimum, a nursing degree from an accredited college or university. Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing in a long term care facility, or related health care facility. Must have a valid and current R.N. License for the state of Florida. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long term care.
