Minimum Licensure and Certification:A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside is required.Should you hold a RN license from another Compact state, you are required to apply for and obtain a Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside within 30 days.BLS required.ACLS required within orientation period.
Minimum Experience/Additional Certification:Previous experience in surgical care as a technician or nurse is preferred.
Accounts for all sponges, needles and instruments per policy & communicates this to physicians
Assess and diagnoses patient and family needs in order to provide quality care to assigned patients.
Develops, discusses, and communicates a realistic problem list plan of care) for each patient in collaboration with patient/ family/ significant other to address all identified needs.
Demonstrates the skills and judgment necessary to implement medical plan of care, nursing interventions and procedures as necessary for the care of the patient.
Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided to ensure the integration of information for use by the health care team, to ensure quality care. This includes accurate and appropriate documentation of charges.
Evaluates the identified problems, care provided, and patientï¿½s responses are reassessed in order to meet patient and family needs to ensure overall quality of care is delivered.
