Phlebotomy Supervisor Full-Time Nights

Under the general supervision of the Laboratory Director, the Supervisor for Phlebotomy and Central Processing is responsible for overseeing a team of phlebotomists/ laboratory assistants who service inpatients, outpatients and the emergency department. Job duties will include, but are not limited to, phlebotomy, specimen handling, workload prioritization, maintaining policies and procedures for the section, phone skills and interdepartmental relationships. Orders, cancels, obtains, receives, processes, and distributes specimens appropriately and in a timely manner for analysis. Maintains staff schedules for the department. Monitors specimens referred to outside laboratories.

Minimum Education: A High School Diploma required.
Minimum Experience: 5+ years of job-related experience. Supervisory experience preferred.
Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses. BLS certification required.
