This position is responsible for advanced clerical functions within the Health Information Management department including the following:
Monitors, addresses, and updates accounts for missing documentation required for coding and billing
Performs audits to validate quality, completeness and timeliness of records
Performs Chart Corrections to assure documentation integrity
Works with accounts in Epic to facilitate completion and accuracy of documentation
Performs data reporting
Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience required to perform the job.
Minimum - High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred - Two or more years' experience in a hospital Health Information Management department
