The Clinical Nurse Specialist is Registered Nurse / RN that is responsible for helping to create and promote a culture that promotes quality patient care and service excellence. Utilizes and teaches evidence-based practices to develop the clinical competence of bedside care givers. The Clinical Nurse Specialist is Registered Nurse / RN that is able to engage and motivate staff to achieve a culture of clinical excellence by coaching, teaching, encouraging, demonstrating and role-modeling that behavior of staff. This Clinical Nurse Specialist is Registered Nurse / RN that is part of nursing leadership team, assists, director supervising, planning, organizing, directing and controlling activities.
Minimum: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Required: BSN or currently enrolled in BSN program
Preferred: Clinical Master in Nursing, in area of specialization
Minimum three years of experience in area of specialty with prior clinical nurse Specialist experience
Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida.
BLS Certification, approved by the American Heart Association
ACLS required based on assigned Unit approved by the American Heart Association
