About the Opportunity: The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and the School of Nursing invite applications from highly-motivated candidates with an emphasis in Health Sciences or Health Informatics for a full-time tenured position. This is an academic year, benefits-eligible position as an Associate or Full Professor appointed jointly in the Department of Pharmacy and Health System Sciences and the School of Nursing.
Research areas of interest should encompass approaches for maximizing the value of health data through large-scale analytics and may include health economics, health disparities, social sciences, advanced life and health sciences, machine learning (ML), computer and data sciences, digital health, computational medical and clinical sciences, digital engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), and medicine.

In addition, a strong and effective faculty development strategy is part of the Northeastern institutional mission. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be jointly appointed in the Department of Pharmacy and Health System Sciences and the School of Nursing. The candidate will also engage in curriculum development and assessment, undergraduate and graduate teaching and student advising, lead/participate in all experiential learning opportunities for students, such as capstones and research, as well as serving in dissertation committees, and engaging in service activities in the Department, College, and University. We seek individuals who can leverage their program of research to facilitate collaborations with other Colleges and nodes of Northeastern global university system (the Network), who are interested in health/healthcare data science and digital health broadly represented across disciplines and bring innovative pedagogical methods into undergraduate, graduate and professional lifelong learning.
Qualifications: A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Epidemiology, Health Economics, Biostatistics, Health Informatics, Public Health, Population Health, Information Science, Data Science, or a related field required by the start date of the appointment. Candidates must articulate or demonstrate a commitment to undergraduate/graduate teaching excellence and a record of interdisciplinary scholarly achievement commensurate with rank of Tenured Associate or Full Professor. The successful applicant will have a robust research portfolio and demonstrate extramural funding.
