Overview
Northwest Permanente, P.C. is currently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatric physician to join or growing medical group as a Locum Tenens physician in a float role supporting our Portland, OR metro region. In this role, you can support Child/ Adolescent or Adult patients, based on your training.
Our local staff work in a care model that supports 50% virtual visits currently. We are also open to hiring a 100% tele-psychiatrist for out of area physicians that are interested in our care model, but not able to live in the local region. Ideally, this physician will live in OR or WA. We will also consider applicants that live in or able to relocate to OR, WA, CA, AZ, AL or FL.
All applicants must have experience with digital technologies (examples include telehealth and/or digital health). You will need to demonstrate both flexibility and adaptability to incorporate these into your practice as we continue to evolve our virtual care model. A comfort level with concurrent documentation is also needed for this role. We use a combination of face-to-face care and the latest virtual modalities to provide evidence-based, psychiatric treatments, including primary care consults, crisis interventions and medication consultation. Our physicians will provide a combination of onsite and virtual care.
