Atlantic Health system is seeking Full Time Medical Office Associate II for Atlantic Orthopedic Oncology department in Morristown, NJ.
Provide support for the operations of the practice which includes, but not limited to: answering phones, scheduling/registering patient appointments, obtaining authorizations/referrals for treatment/diagnostic procedures/appointments, patient check in/out
Payment collections, scanning medical documentation into EMR and any additional tasks assigned.
Electronic medical records experience preferred; strong computer skills required
Superior written/oral communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to follow through with tasks to completion
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask in a face paced environment
Ability to effectively and accurately follow directions or instructions
Ability to escalate issues appropriately
Knowledge of healthcare and health insurance
Familiarity with medical terminology
High School Diploma required
Associates Degree preferred
Minimum Experience Required:
2 years of related medical office experience
