Oversees all aspects of assigned area which includes operational, quality and statistical.
Identifies and resolves discrepancies.
Leads the monitoring of customer satisfaction, turnaround time and other measurable parameters that represent indicators of departmental performance improvement.
Performs duties of the staff nurse within area of expertise.
Works in partnership as part of the team of clerical and nursing staff, and clinic support for the benefit of the patient.
Effectively manages people, resources and time in partnership with other team leaders to achieve results; shares resources as appropriate.
Proactively responds to and supports change; anticipates problems and effectively adjusts plans.
Balances short-term and long-term objectives.
Identifies and implements ways to reduce costs and streamline efforts within and between clinic areas while maintaining quality standards.

Ensures all required performance improvement and quality control documentation is completed for assigned sections.

Participates in the interview and selection process for team members.
Coordinates and conducts team orientation with all new team members.
Coordinates performance evaluation process for all team members.
Gathers and evaluates input regarding employee discipline prior to implementing to insure fairness and standardization throughout the department.

Hours: 8a to 4:30p (The triage team is 24/7 and may require occasional support in the after hours)
Travel: Yes, required travel to assist with onboarding and orientation when virtual training options are not available
Work location: Work from Home - PA resident who is willing to travel as stated above
Preferred experience: Telephone triage experience
