In compliance with applicable New York and New Jersey State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine) is mandatory for all MSK employees, contingent workers, and volunteers. Exceptions are permitted for those employees who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption.
*Staff working at a MSK New Jersey location must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which includes having completed the primary COVID-19 vaccination series and booster once eligible as mandated by New Jersey State. All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK.

Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an Editor/Grant Writer to join the Department of Radiology.
We are a team of three grant writers/editors who work together to support the research efforts of the radiologists in the department. While our work is mostly autonomous, we cover for each other during time off and help each other when needed.
You Will:
- Edit and coordinate academic, research, and related documents and submit manuscripts and revisions to journals under tight deadlines.
- Create and maintain work plans for federal and foundation grant proposals and edit all grant components.
- Work closely with physician-scientists and other research staff to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Draft letters of support for grants and letters of recommendation for service chiefs.
You are:
- Resourceful, detail-oriented, a self-starter, and accustomed to working independently in a deadline-driven setting.
- Flexible in your approach and demeanor to meet shifting workload demands.
- An effective communicator, capable of determining how to best reach different audiences.
You have:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in substantive editing, grants and/or project management, publishing, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the submission of federal grants is preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Master's degree preferred but not required).
- A demonstrated ability to understand and communicate complex information. Exceptional organizational skills.
- Proficiency in bibliographic/reference management software (i.e., EndNote), Office 365, and teleconferencing systems. Knowledge of PowerPoint, Acrobat Writer, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator useful.
- American Medical Writers Association, Board of Editors in the Life Sciences, or University of Chicago Medical Writing & Editing Program certification (preferred).
- An interest in or familiarity with clinical research. #LI-POST
