JOB SUMMARY
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provides consumer protection compliance subject matter expertise to Conifer operational leaders and compliance team members, as well as client compliance counterparts.
- Develops and performs key, risk-based monitoring and testing activities including:
- Creating appropriate parameters for monitoring and testing activities included in the Ethics and Compliance Testing Plan
- Assessing operational process governance
- Analyzing data in probe samples and performing account reviews
- Identifying and recommending opportunities to mitigate risk or improve the efficiency or effectiveness of business operations and compliance
- Drafts final reports and dashboards
- Routinely oversees early out and bad debt collection vendor practices as part of the organization�s established third party oversight framework
- Establishes proactive relationships with the vendors� operational and compliance contacts
- Conducts routine monitoring and risk-based testing of vendor-owned processes
- In conjunction with Legal and Operations, addresses instances of non-compliance related to vendor performance
- Supports consumer protection-related regulatory change management implementation efforts.
- Assists in the creation of consumer protection compliance education and resources. In addition, advises on policy updates, where applicable.
- Collaborates with key leadership, team members, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout Conifer to promote a culture of compliance.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
If direct report positions are listed below, the following responsibilities will be performed in accordance with guidelines, policies and procedures and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- Indirect Reports (titles) Analyst, and/or Sr. Analyst as applicable

- Proficient with various desktop applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and/or Access.
- Intermediate knowledge of relational database management systems.
- Must be a team player - Always willing to help in whatever way possible and go the extra mile to get the job done.
- Intuitive and skilled at problem solving in anticipation of internal stakeholder and/or client requests.
- Have the ability to make logical correlations between data points to determine if analysis is accurate.
- Detail oriented, meticulous, and accurate in completing tasks on time.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field or equivalent years of related experience required.
- Minimum five years� experience in related area required Experience managing risk in the areas of TCPA, FDCPA, FCRA, and other state and federal consumer protection laws and regulations required
- Experience working in a healthcare focused organization is preferred
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE
