Creates and maintains an environment that optimizes resident safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors. |
Assists in the Assisted Living staff continuing education and in-service programs, while implementing strong leadership concepts. |
Coordinates and directs resident care and education by monitoring care plans and assisting clinical staff to improve the quality of care. |
With the Assisted Living Director/Manager, conducts staff meetings on a regular basis. |
Exhibits genuine interest in and appreciation of the residents. |
Acts as an advocate for the residents within their household. |
With the AL Director/Manager provides input to assure proper hiring, orientation, training, clinical competency, coaching, educating, counseling and performance appraisals are maintained in a manner supportive of team and professional standards of practice. |
With the AL Director/Manager, guides the household staff to support organizational fiscal viability through efficient and effective use of all resources of the in the household, including maintaining clinical staffing and supply budgets within planned expenditures, maintain staffing patterns consistent with the philosophy, objectives and availability of resources. |
Fosters collaboration, consensus and negotiation to address problem solving in the household. |
Assures all policies and procedures of the household are maintained, interprets and communicates same to all in the household as needed, with an emphasis on resident, family or designated representative relationships. |
