Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Nursing Assistant for Kahn 4 Unit at Morristown Medical Center to work from 11pm to 7am, including every other weekend.
Responsibilities
Essential Function/Responsibilities
- Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care
- Assisting patients with daily activities
- Measuring and recording vital signs
- Administering basic treatments
- Helping to ensure a safe care environment
- Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met
- Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have positive customer service skills
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- High School or GED diploma required
Minimum Experience:
- 0-2 years' experience in acute care, long-term, or rehab preferred
- Nursing School clinical
License/Certifications:
- BLS preferred
