The UCSF Department of Neurological Surgery seeks a Physiatrist to join the UCSF Spine Center and our department network sites. The UCSF Spine Center is a well-equipped, newly renovated tertiary care clinic on the Parnassus campus, which houses five spinal neurosurgeons and has an adjacent ASC. The position entails outpatient care of our spine patient population who require conservative treatment prior to potential surgery. We seek to fill the available position as soon as possible. Qualified applicants will have completed an ACGME physiatry residency and have a California Medical License at the time of hire. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan (https://ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf) which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
