Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for the Cardiac Cath Lab at Chilton Medical Center, primarily working 5 days, 7.5 hour shifts. On Call required.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Function:
Supervises all Cath Lab personnel in the performance of invasive cardiology, peripheral vascular and interventional radiology procedures
Supervises proficiency of personnel monitoring both quantity and quality of work performed
Reviews daily scheduled procedures to ensure adequate staffing levels
Maintains scheduling for daily staffing and on-call coverage
Responsible for the day to day operations of the department and managing the procedure schedule including add on procedures and emergencies
Utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to coordinate patient care
Collaborates with manager in assessing needs of the department
Appropriately delegates responsibilities
Participates in patient satisfaction rounds, maintaining awareness of patient conditions and needs
Works collaboratively with the ED and nursing units on coordination of patient care
Participates in site based and system-wide committees as assigned by manager
Monitor HCAHPS scores for process improvement
Initiates and maintains open line communication for patients/family concerns complaints or special needs
Candidate also responsible for employee management; conducts yearly performance reviews
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
BSN required
MSN preferred
License/Certifications:
Valid NJ Nursing License required
CCRN or other critical care certification preferred
BLS required
ACLS required
IAPB or other critical care experience preferred
Relevant Experience:
3-5 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience strongly preferred
