Atlantic Medical Group is currently seeking multiple Full time Certified Medical Assistant to join our Pediatric Endocrinology department in Morristown, NJ.
Our entry level offers start at $21.10 / hour and increase based upon experience.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
The CMA will assume clinical and administrative responsibilities, including greeting patients, performing specific intake tasks such as height, weight, BP, urine dips, medication reconciliation, A1C testing, documenting in an EMR, managing patient/office flow for providers, scheduling, insurance verification and pre-certifications, as well as registering, scanning , making confirmation calls, collecting co-pays and balances.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma required
Qualifications/Requirements:
MA certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT or NHA required
Strong computer and customer service skills, pediatric experience preferred
Traveling could be necessary to assist with other practices as needed
