Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem, Flexible Certified Medical Assistant that will support different practices - ranging from Morristown, Rockaway, Paramus, Wayne, & Cedar Knolls for Medical Institute of NJ, part of AMG.
The Certified Medical Assistant I (CMA) will perform clinical as well as administrative tasks including managing phones
Certified Medical Assistant will be registering patients, scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, rooming patients
Also, taking vital signs, medication reconciliation, maintaining/prepping exam rooms, and other duties typical of a CMA in a physician practice.
High School Diploma
Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
Certified Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, NAHP, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, NHA required
Post externship physician practice experience preferred
Prior EMR physician practice experience a plus
Experience with EPIC desired
