Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for the MED / Simon 5 at Morristown Medical Center to work 7AM - 7:30PM including flexible Saturdays.
Perform all duties of RN with manager in coordination of unit activities, goals, and objectives.
Identifies emergency situations and guides staff.
Facilitates and engages in effective problem solving.
Oversees implementation of action plan to improve Press ganey.
Facilitates staff meetings, acts as a role model for staff.
Available to patients and family members for clinical and administrative issues.
Responsible for daily financial operations and assists manager in achieving financial goals.
Facilitates the implementation and development of best practices.
Responsible for daily patient flow of the unit.
Candidate will keep manager informed of any issues and complete audits as needed.
Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.

Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
High School diploma or GED required
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required
3-5 year medical/ surgical/ critical care experience
Valid New Jersey Nursing License
