Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Nursing Assistant for the Cardiac Unit- Gagnon 5 at Morristown Medical Center to work 7:00am - 7:00pm, including every other weekend.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care
- Assisting patients with daily activities such as changing and bathing
- Measuring and recording vital signs
- Administering basic treatments
- Helping to ensure a safe care environment
- Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met
- Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have positive customer service skills
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- High School diploma or GED required
Minimum Experience:
- 2 years of Acute Care experience
Licenses/Certifications:
- BLS required
- CNA preferred
Qualifications:
- Provide Extraordinary Care to patients and families.
- Assist with ADL
- Vital signs and other duties such as Blood Sugars, progressive mobility.
